This is a portrait of my friend's dog when she was ...smaller. IZZY is an Irish Wolfhound. I had never seen one and enjoyed taking photos of her ! I loved this photo because she's in your face in a good way ! Photos that are taken from unusual viewpoints appeal to me. Pastel is a perfect medium for portraits and for me because I don't like to clean brushes !
