Conditions and Liability

Your signature upon entering art, means you have read and agree to requirements and liabilities. 

Requirements:
  1. All work must be professionally framed in a safe manner, with a wire affixed accordingly to hang 2D art.
  2. No sharp edges or dangerous protrusions on artworks.
  3. Artwork should not be so fragile that shipment or public display is potentially harmful.
  4. All art must be original works of art. 
  5. Work cannot be exhibited more than one time in the Great Hall Gallery. 
  6. ages 18+, international entries welcome
  7. adhere to drop off and pick up dates
  8. artwork should be recent

The Arts Center and the Exhibits Committee reserve the right to use our discretion in hanging and displaying art works.

Conditions and Liabilities Agreement between Artist and The Arts Center

Courtesy Commission:
The Arts Center retains a 20% on all artwork sold for members and 30% for Non Members. Payments will be made in the form of a check when the exhibit is over. It could take a minimum of 2 weeks after an exhibitions’ end date for funds to be available for numerous reasons. Thank you for being patient.
 
Taxes: State sales tax of 7% is collected and returned to the artist.

Security: This is a secured facility with an alarm monitoring system. At all times, the utmost care is given by the Exhibits Committee and Director and Coordinator and volunteers.
 
Pick Up: You are required to examine your art thoroughly before you leave our facility. If there are any issues/damage/defects to your artwork you must speak with the Arts Coordinator or Director prior to leaving our facility. The Arts Center is not responsible for damage after you depart with your artwork. The Arts Centers’ Director and Coordinator will no longer sign out work for the artist on good faith. *If you pick up art and leave without notifying staff, any damage claims, are null and void automatically and will not be the responsibility of The Arts Center. You should always check in. You are required to pick up art on the scheduled pick up day to avoid damage in a storage area. The Arts Center reserves the right to charge a late fee for late pick up.
 
The Arts Center is a 501c3, non-profit, charitable organization. A great deal of time and expense are involved in every exhibit. If you have questions, speak with the Arts Coordinator or the Executive Director. The Arts Center reserves the right to use images of your work for publicity purposes.
