Winter Sun

I created this photograph by adding texture and manipulating the values of the original print. I wanted to contrast the sturdy dark vertical trees with the lacework of the white snow on the limbs. These woods were backlit by bright sun, so I wanted a warm glow to envelope the scene rather than the expected icy look snow scenes usually have.
